Crime Tab is a platform that provides real-time crime, fire, EMS, and incident data for the city of Los Angeles and allows users to report incidents and view the data on a map.
We do not push alerts for things that do not affect you. No "BREAKING," no victim photos, no cable-news energy. Just the incidents you asked to know about.
Built for the city, not bolted onto a national app. We know the 405 from the 5, Altadena from Atwater, and where the brush fires actually start.
LAPD, LAFD, CHP, Cal Fire, LA Metro, and LA County Sheriff — aggregated into one map. Most competitors carry one or two of these.
Who it is for
A neighbor with a police scanner who knows how to read a fire weather map. That is the energy.
Know what is happening on your block before it hits the news. Tune alerts by incident type and radius. Skip the doom-scroll.
CHP and LAFD traffic data, surfaced before you merge onto the 405. Faster, more specific than Waze for major incidents.
A structured, searchable feed of every significant LA incident — unit counts, timestamps, addresses. Stop refreshing Twitter.
Data sources
We pull from official open-data feeds and dispatch streams, clean them, geocode them, and put them on one map. Addresses are rounded to block level to protect victim privacy.
The live map updates as new incidents are reported. No account required.
